scott's dream'
Scott Guinta also invited a woman prophetically gifted woman named Julia (who later married a good man named Larkin Terburgh) to be a part of these meetings. Over the next weeks, a prophetic group formed at Pat’s that involved the Reynolds', the Fraser’s, Julia, me (when not working) and Scott Guinta, who sort of led it. It was focused on praying for Pat to be healed. I tried to recruit other people like Bob Hartley, but Rick seemed the most gifted person at bringing additional people to these meetings for Pat to meet. The following Monday evening Scott left feeling kind of let down because Pat didn't seem visibly touched, even though he prayed with much earnestness that the Lord would heal Pat.
It is interesting to note that a few years earlier, Michael Sullivant, who had very little contact with Pat, had a vivid dream about people knowing the date and the hour of Pat’s healing. It was like he was Pat when Pat got healed in dramatic fashion. Then on August 29th, Scott had a powerful dream in which he was first standing on a balcony with Michael Sullivant overlooking Pat's room and he saw a man down on the ground below talking to Pat apologizing to Pat and telling him he was sorry that he didn't get healed. He said, “Well, we gave it our best shot.” At the same time Pat told the man, “Don't be sorry, I just appreciate that fact that you came.” Then Scott told Michael Sullivant in the dream, “You know what Michael, I’m just not going to give up on the supernatural power of God for the miraculous.” Then Scott found himself in Pat’s room. In the corner of his eye, Scott saw Pat get up out of his bed and steady himself and then he walked towards the garage door and then back into his room. His limbs were twice their size and functioning normally. The feeling in the room was that this event was almost natural and laid back. Everybody in the room was rather shocked and amazed at what had taken place. Then Scott turned around and a lady screamed at him, “It didn’t happen… Pat could walk all along!” Then Scott said to the lady, “That’s curious because that's what they said in the Bible when Jesus healed the man that was born blind.” 1
Then Monday on Labor Day, Scott shared the dream with Pat and the group that gathered at Pat's house that evening: Pat, Scott, Rick, Debbie, and Julia. That night the presence of the Lord really seemed to show up. Just after the group had talked about the possibility of a three-week Daniel fast for Pat, the presence of an Angel seemed to come in and wrestled Scott to the ground, pinning him down on his chest. As the meeting continued spiritual events continued to happen. That night Rick and Julia felt in their spirits, there was a demon that wanted to take Pat’s life. Two of the main themes that rested over the rest of the night were how the Lord wanted to bring forth Isaac, ‘the child of promise’ and how the “children of God were called into liberty, versus the bondage of religion which comes from Satan.” The small group really felt that the Lord had consecrated that night there at Pat’s house.
