In March of 1984 Bob Jones called Mike Bickle up on a Friday and told him that the audible voice of the Lord spoke to him that He was going to give him the blueprints of the movement on Monday. He called Mike again Saturday and told him Sunday the same thing, to emphasis its importance. Carl Autry was a man from Western Kansas who typed up a prophecy for the fellowship after the Spirit of God came upon him. He then drove to Kansas City and walked into SKCF and ran into Alex Vaughn. Alex was around 19 at the time and recalled that Carl Autry just looked like an old country preacher. Carl then asked Alex, “If he knew if the pastor was in?” Alex didn’t know and directed him back to the offices. But Carl then gave Alex a prophetic word and prayed for him first, and then he turned in the Blueprint prophecy into the SKCF offices.1

It was a Monday and as Carl was leaving, he had another brief conversation with Alex and then he just left. After lunch, Mike found an envelope sitting on his desk, which was marked “Confidential, for Mike Bickle’s Eyes Only.” It was titled “Blueprints.” When Mike opened it up, he found inside a prophetic word given to SKCF by Carl Autry. Mike had never heard of this man before. Inside the envelope was a seven-page prophetic letter that was written to Mike about what the Lord wanted to do with SKCF; the movement Mike was to shepherd, and how the Lord would cause it to grow in the future. Later, the original copy of the Blueprint prophecy ended up with Pat Bickle. I studied it for many hours when I lived with him in 1996, which has helped me write this chapter.

Bob Jones called Mike that Monday and asked, “Well, did you get it?”

And Mike said with a little bit of skepticism, “Well, it’s a prophecy and it has got the word Blueprints on it.”

Bob said, “Well that’s it, but you don’t really believe it do you?”

Then Mike replied, “Well yeah, I believe it. It is a little grandiose though. It has House of Prayer in it and Joseph Company in it. Mike expressed some skepticism. But said “I don’t really get this Bride thing though?”

Bob replied, “You know if it’s God, He will make it happen.” Later Mike shared that he didn’t use this prophecy though to build the church, but it did reaffirm some important values that had been growing in the church.2 But years later, when Tim Johns came on staff, he did see it more as a templet to build KCF.3 And for a few years later it did seem like it was guide to the direction that the fellowship church was going. Especially for those who knew about the prophecy. It was mystical in one sense, but when SKCF started to grow and begin new locations beyond Grandview; it seemed to be the beginning of a fulfillment of some of the Blueprint prophecy, or at least an effort or attempt to fulfill it. That is what I thought during the eighties.

So, Mike’s first reaction to receiving it was not to yell ‘Yippee!’ “What if this is a setup?” He said to himself. “What if Bob and this guy are collaborating in a massive hoax?” His first response was to find out if Bob Jones and this Kansas pastor had ever met. He took steps, leaving no stone unturned, including numerous phone calls to people close to both this pastor and Bob. He concluded that the two men knew nothing of each other [this was still 5 or 6 years before the start of the internet]. One element in the prophecy concerned the emergence of five congregations in the Kansas City metropolitan area, all related to Kansas City Fellowship.4

Mike decided that he would not tell Augustine about this. Rather, he prayed: “Lord, if the Blueprint prophecy is from You, let Augustine tell me about the five congregations in the city. Only then will I tell him about what has happened.” At first Mike gave it some thought and decided not to share it and keep it hidden, because it could lift people up with pride. But he showed the prophetic word to Bob Scott, Bob Hartley, and a few others at the time.

But Mike read it to a small group of people at Pat’s new house once right after Pat had moved in. This young man who recalled this, recalled how big a role in the new fellowship that Bob Scott played at the time (Facebook. 2025). Later, Mike released this prophecy to others. Here is as far as I know, is an unedited version of what it says, parts of it are hard to understand: … this is straight from God shall confirm in your spirit; and you are not to proceed until He does. Then upon the confirmation you should begin to act immediately to take the Bride to the city; and to the city of Kansas City, rather than having it, the city, to come to Him. Therefore, there should be another (church) on the north side and on the east side and on the west side, even as it is on the south side. Therefore, there shall be the four (churches).

Therefore, that shall be the outer circle. Therefore, the center shall be the hub. Therefore, this shall be the 5th (church). This shall be the Church of My grace. I have shown you My grace. My grace is sufficient. My grace is Me in you and in this shall be the 5-fold ministry, and yes, even in the 5-fold ministry, yes, even in the outreach one shall be even the branch. One shall be the apostolic (church) of the center and that shall be the church that is on the south shall become the center hub. It shall be the apostolic (church) and even the outreach of the borders of the circle shall be the evangelistic outreach (church). It shall be the pastor's-preacher's (church) and there shall be the teacher's (church).

The people of the city will be able to travel and sojourn—even as all the ministries shall flow even unto all (the churches). So, shall the city and My people flow unto you. And you shall even as in the days past as I have said unto you—you are a Garden Center Church of My choice says the Lord. Even in My Garden Center Church, I shall raise you up as a plant of renown. You shall be known, and your ways shall be renown and I will bring and place upon you and in you and round about you those that will be the caretakers of My church.

Even as I placed Adam in the center of the Garden to dress it—even so I have placed and set you in this citywide outreach work to dress it. You shall be a dresser of My vineyard, says the Lord, and the vineyard shall be these people that I shall bring unto you and out of you. Even out of the loins of the blood line of the flesh of Abraham—even as I said there would be many seeds and many nations, kindred, and tongues, and even from you. You shall be known as my Mother-church. Also, and out of your loins shall flow many. I shall raise up and there shall flow forth many sons and daughters. Yes, even they shall be known and renowned, even as the children of the renowned and they shall be.

These children shall flow out of your loins of your spirit and that out of My Spirit. They shall be spiritual children and they shall inhabit the uttermost parts of the earth. They shall inhabit the place that I have called for you to settle and to raise up other ministries and to send out other churches. You shall set in order the pastors, as I call the signals—You shall only be acting as I send in the signals to you. As I give you the word of My messenger you shall hear and it shall be confirmed of a truth in your heart. And you shall act upon it. Upon the acting of this I will place within you and within your hands the 5-fold ministry. The ministry shall flow and rotate (from church to church)—rather than people (from church to church).

You shall set in as I will call and place in your hands to anoint with the Holy Oil even as this is My significance of My acceptance of those whom I by My Holy Spirit shall confirm and set into My Body—that I would prepare for Me a bride in this area. The people shall flow then into the tabernacles of habitation. They shall flow from the north and from the east and the south and from the west. They shall come and they shall be handled by your sides and by the ministers. You shall be ministers of light and ministers of truth of Me, says the Lord. Even this shall be a people that shall be known of Me and I shall be their God and they shall be My people.

Their responsibility lies within Me and their safety lies in drawing close together, yes, I would have them draw real close together. I say unto you again, that their safety lies in drawing real close together. There shall be unity of the Spirit and of the doctrine and your doctrine shall be My doctrine of My Spirit.

I will prepare a place for My people and you shall go forth and lead My people to a place of habitation. I will show you and I will guide you. I will be your purse bearer. I will hand the checks and the money as the time is prepared for this. There shall be a time and a season and a place for My people to go. Even as I shall call them forth before the cities become desolate. And therein you shall raise up unto you other cities that shall be the permanent place. There shall be schools of ministry and they shall flow out of the city into the country—into the country, into the City of Habitation; says the Lord.

This load shall be too heavy for you, you shall not be able to bear the burden alone. I shall raise up helpmates, yes, even many help-mates both male and female. I will set them and call them to stand by your side and you shall go forth and lead a people even as Moses led a people and there shall be those that shall lift up your hands. You shall designate—consecrate this people and anoint this people and assign to and delegate. I would have you to delegate the authority, duty, and responsibility, because you cannot carry this load yourself. The burden is too heavy and the journey is too far.

I will send wise men even as I sent wise men to behold My Son's birth; so shall I send wise men to teach you and help you and guide you and be a strength and a source of supply to you. I shall be your purse bearer and to those that will hear My voice and obey and yield and become obedient and truly do as My word says and set the Kingdom first in their heart. I shall raise up ministers of finance in this area. I shall bless them. I shall cause them to prosper and they will be prospering because it is. They will remember and know that of a truth that it is their Lord and their God that gives them power to get wealth. They shall prosper when there is no prosperity. They shall bear fruit when others are barren and even your land and your habitation shall be a place of a forerunner—you shall go before hand. Even as I sent Joseph beforehand, so you shall go before. You shall send forth the Joseph out of My Bride and My congregation to prepare—even to make ready a time and a place that I shall choose, it shall be of My choosing and of My calling, says the Lord.

For even now, even as I have sent my messenger to share my ministry unto you; I shall visit you. There shall be many that shall raise up out of you and You shall be known in your ministries. From out of you shall come forth the 5-fold ministry. This ministry shall be known and established as the Divine Institute of Higher Learning—it shall be a school. I shall move quickly. I will do a quick work in teaching and in bringing up these people that must be brought up.

Yes, I say again unto you, this must be a DO work, and a new work and as I open My hand—even out of the clouds, even as I have shown you and I shall show you yet that—that as My hand opens and pulsates so shall the children grow. Even the children shall grow mightily and quickly. I shall bring them up and teach them and lead them by the right way, that they might go and prepare a city for habitation and they may plant their vineyards and sow their fields and their cattle shall give their increase says the Lord.

For even as I have sent My messenger and many have heard the voice that I have, says the Lord, shot the arrow of My deliverance for My people. The arrow is the flaming arrow of My deliverance of My gospel and of My power.

The out-pouring of the latter rain shall begin in this area and upon this city. It shall be noised abroad even worldwide. They will stand in awe and they will return unto the Holy reverence of My name and of My people and they shall flourish and the way of My teachings shall be by My Spirit and by My word.

I will do a new thing. I will visit them in the night season with dreams and visions as I have said in the past in My word, yes, even this is of My word. I will even send My angels. I will even take people in the Spirit and catch them away in the Spirit, yes, even unto the Divine Institute of Higher Learning and it shall be by Me and I shall teach them in new ways. I have said before My Word shall not return unto me void but that thing which I have said is absolute, My Word is absolute. My Word is sovereign. My Word is established. My Word shall be—and if there be those that are stubborn and rebellious and obstinate, I shall even remove the Royal Diadem and the Crown of Glory and I shall give it to, even prepared to another, says the Lord.

This is the day of My visitation unto you. I shall call the recording angels of Heaven and earth to record to you, this day that it is sealed upon you and it cannot be removed, in Jesus' mighty name.

For You shall not build unto Me or unto yourself buildings of places to ingather. For as of now, you shall continue with the plan as I have given you in the beginning. For it is My plan and it shall be by My design and shall not be by groping as in the dark. For My people that have been sitting in the valley & shadow of darkness have seen the light. Even as Paul had seen the light, but his fellow-laborers saw not the light, but he became the reflection of that light even as John bore witness of that light. My light is understanding.

For it is given unto you to know and to see the Just One. For I have many people that must yet come to the light. For out of the center of the Hub shall grow forth from the House of Prayer for I have said My House shall be called ‘House of Prayer’. For this is of me and the fifth shall be My grace.

For out of My grace shall flow forth My divine grace and favor to all that are willing and obedient. For have I not said the first shall be last and the last shall be first. Thus it shall be as the fifth place of ministry is to be readied—then it shall be built by My design.

For into this place shall flow the outreach ministries and from these in-gathering meetings shall flow the fullness of Christ. Even unto the workings of the fullness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For when you have the nine gifts, come together—then shall be fulfilled the scripture—these works and even greater works shall you do.

For there are the many that shall be raised up at the appointed time, for the world to see and this is a part of the ministry of the end-time church. For even as I have called John to make ready a people for the Lord, even so shall this be a church that bears the forerunner spirit that was upon John. This shall be a spirit of preparation and of preparedness, for this is the separation work.

For I have called for My people to come out and be ye separate—even unto Me. For I will not have a piece of a people, but it shall be all or none. For I place in your hands the final decision and you shall go forth by faith and faith is by My grace and in My grace is My tolerance and contingency for flesh.

For the government shall be by the voice of the twelve. For even the disciples shall be sent out as one that is sent. They shall go as servants into the out-of-the-way places to compel them to come into My House that it may be full. For each church shall reach a thousand before you move—to establish the second and the third even unto the fifth. But it shall be one body each member free to visit and attend as he is led by My Spirit. For this shall move to the outer borders of the city for the final phases of the building of My ‘House of Prayer’.5Now the Blueprint prophecy could just be old meat now and no longer relevant?

At that time Phyllis Baird, in her thirties then, was/is prophetically gifted, found an excellent mentor in Bob Jones. Bob taught her what it meant to birth things in the Holy Spirit and about Visions. In 1984 she shared a real profound open vision she had had with Bob Jones which made me think of the BluePrint Prophecy. In her vision she was standing at I-435 and Stateline and she was facing Southwest. In her vision she saw a gargantuan whirlwind come out of heaven. Angels and lighting and thunder were in the whirlwind. And the angels were going round and round, and back up and down from the whirlwind. Then a Trumpet blew, and the Angels flew out the bottom of the vortex. And when they flew out the bottom of the vortex, they began to fill up the heavenlies and fill up the sky from horizon to horizon as far as Phyllis could see. It turned into a canopy of angels all over the place. Phyllis was overwhelmed by this and then she saw golden hotlines going up into heaven and she was made aware that there would be prayer warriors who would pray this in. Then the trumpet blew a second time and then the vortex began to suck in everything like churches, small groups. It just sucked things into itself. There were things, people and everything that was swirling around inside the vortex to include people and objects. Then a third trumpet blew, and out of the top of the Whirlwind shot this thing that came down to earth. When it set down on earth four golden rods shot out from it, which established four pillory looking boxes at the end of the rods that were established. Phyllis then took this vision to Bob Jones who told Bob that the Lord was going to bring unity to the city and that he would have 7 upon 7 upon 14 upon 49 leaders that would come together to bring this thing about [or 77]. It has four things attached to it (which Bob felt like was one church: north, east, south and west). Phyllis said, OK. But then Phyllis added that it would have intercession that would goes on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There would be a training and equipping center. There will be a prophetic fireplace where these prophets will come together. Then she felt the Lord speak to her that the four golden rods did not represent four locations, but rather Prophets, Apostles, Worship and Intercession that would be the stabilizing forces…6
